Dandelion



Dandelion,
Frowned upon,
Looked down upon,
You are said to be a weed,
Nothing more than grass,
But you have class,
A flower blooming as the rest do,
A miniature marigold perhaps,
I see the beauty in your petite stem,
In your soft, supple petals.
I see the simplicity of But you have class,

I see the simplicity of your colours,
Green, symbolizing wealth,
Yellow, brilliance.
I refuse to acknowledge that anyone else is right,
Because I choose to see your beauty;
